July 22, 2008: Brutal Massacre Hits the Streets!

Brutal Massacre: a Comedy is now on the street and running! The reviews have been strong, but take a look and judge for yourselves. I think you'll like it.

If all of you go out and buy copies, the producers just might get all excited and make a sequel including our old friend Krenshaw! Whadayathink? You'd better buy two, just to be sure.

April 6. 2008: Chainsaw Massacre Reunion!

The weekend of March 15th, we had a Chainsaw Massacre Reunion at Monster-Mania, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This was our first reunion since 1994, and the first time ever that Teri McMinn and Bill Vail had been able to join us. Jim Siedow and Paul Partain are gone, but in a way even they were there, too.

There will be more reunions! Right now we have one scheduled in Erie, Pennsylvania, in October. Check the Appearances Page for details. And I'll post the additional ones as we firm up the schedules.

In the meantime, here's a picture of all of us, taken by Ann Teal.

January 1. 2008: Brutal Massacre headed for theatres!

I have just received word that Brutal Massacre, Stevan Mena's new comedy, is expected to be in theatres this coming April.
I play Krenshaw, a burned-out vet who thinks he's the coolest guy in town, as you can see below.

Krenshaw in all his glory.

The reviews are starting to come in, all positive! The reviewers even like me.
I leave it up to you to find the review that says, "This man needs to star in his own comedy."
What an excellent idea! Call my agent. Let's talk.

December 19, 2007: New Poems added to the Writing from Some Fans section.

This feature is popular enough already that I have added poems from two new contributors. Hope you enjoy them. Check it out on the menu below.
And don't forget to check out the Some of Gunnar's Writing section, too.

October 3, 2007: New Interview with Gunnar

Axel Howerton has just posted an interview with me, which talks mostly about Gimme Skelter and includes lots of interesting photos.

Check-out Axel's interview here.

August 23, 2007: Gimme Skelter Wins Award

I have just returned from the Fright Night Film Fest, in Lexington, Kentucky, and Scott Phillips' new film Gimme Skelter won an award for best soundtrack! I was lucky enough to act (and die) in this wonderfully written movie with my niece, Kristin Hansen.

Here's a great review. And here's another. And yet another.

And, if you want to see the trailer for Gimme Skelter, click here.
